Established 1985. Four decades of underwater work across the Indonesian Archipelago and Southeast Asia.
"Building trusted underwater solutions through expertise, integrity, and a commitment to operational excellence."
A privately owned Indonesian diving company built on one operating rule: someone is always on call.
PT. Cahaya Karya Bhakti Samudra, known in the industry as Cakra Bhasa, was established in Jakarta on 8 July 1985. The operation office and base servicing run seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day, out of Depok in Southern Jakarta.
Since then, Cakra Bhasa has worked across marine construction, marine salvage, surveys, offshore works, underwater maintenance, repair welding and special maintenance of jetties throughout the Indonesian Archipelago and Southeast Asia.
In 1991, the company began offering Underwater Inspection Ship Maintenance Services approved by international classification societies — carrying out In-Water Survey (IWS) in lieu of periodical bottom survey in dry dock, and assessing underwater damage ahead of vessel or barge repair.
